A topic sentence must have a subject and an attitude. It consists of a topic or subject matter and a restricting statement. Subject claims what we write about and the attitude implies Why we write. A Topic Sentence can be concluded that it is a summary of all information in the paragraph.
Compare the following topic sentences:
a. Newsweek is a magazine
b. Newsweek is an objective magazine
A Topic sentence in item (a) is not a good topic sentence. It has no attitude. It is different with the topic sentence in item (b), it has an attitude, that is objective.
A paragraph must consist of relevant information. To make sure how the topic sentence works, it should be clearer so that can control the information in the paragraph. The sentences function to help include relevant information and exclude any irrelevant ones.
The position of Topic Sentence can be: 1) at the beginning (the first sentence of paragraph), 2) in the middle (somewhere), 3) at the end (last sentence). As the beginner, if possible, we should place the topic sentence at the beginning to have a clear guide to finish the rest of paragraph and have good control over the contents (what information included), so the readers will be more prepared to follow and understand the paragraph.
A writer, besides, is responsible to develop the topic sentence, has to develop supporting ideas as well. There are two kinds of supporting sentences: 1) Major supporting sentences (MASS), and 2) Minor supporting sentences (MISS). MASS back and develop the topic sentence directly, they add and some relevant, new information about the main idea. MISS contribute useful information to the paragraph, support the MASS directly and the topic sentence indirectly.

Barong Si Pencuri Hati Warga Bali
Barong” is the magical protector of balinese villages. Wits its long mane and fantastic fanged mask, he is the opponent of “ Rangda”. Rangda is the witch. He rules over the spirit of darkness. Barong and Rangda are opposed in a never ending fight. They are good and evil. The fight of barong and Rangda “is also the topic of traditional story. The most famous is the story of ‘’Calonarang”. The widow from jirah is furious because she cannot find a proper husband for her daughter Ratna Manggali. The youths are all scared of her black magic.
She yents revenge by wreaking havoc over the kingdom of Daha. The king erlangga tries to punish her but all his attempts fail. The furious kills all soldier he sends to destroy her. Rangda decides to destroy daha. She summons all her disclipes and they go in depth of the night to the Setra Gendramayu cemetery, to present offs rings of dead flesh to “ Durga “ the goddess of death. Durga consent to the destruction, although she advises the witch not to enter the city of Daha. The wicth does not heedthe advice.
The kingdom is soon hit by”grubug” ( Pandemic ) and villagesbecome cemeteries as people die even before they can bury their dead. Corpses are scattered everywhere, and the stench is unbearable. The only person able to defeat the witch is Mpu Baradah. At the king request, Baradah sends his disciple bahula to steal the witch magic weapon of calonarang. To approach her, bahula pretends to ask for ratna manggali’s hands.

Besakih for example, which is the largest temple in Bali province, located in the Besakih village, south of the great Gunung Agung mountain which is the highest mountain on the island of Bali. then there is the beautiful Kuta beach, Its appeal is a beautiful sea shore, and the sand is white and clean. The next is Bedugul, is one of the places / Bali tourist attraction that offers the natural beauty of mountains and lakes. A high place to make this area is always shrouded in mist and cold air. Road Safety Begis at Scholl is program of safety campaign of riding which need to be held this time because hundreds of accidents were dominated by students. Unstable emotion and lack of awareness of riding were the major cause of accidents.
Scholl as a place for study ought to take responsibility and make an action immediately. Work along with police departement esspecially traffic division is one way to raise student’s awareness of road safety but also build better relations with the police.

A traffic jam is offen occur in Malang it’s because by so many transportasions tool, but there is no broadening of road. Not just a traffic jam, but also about jobless, so many people have no a good job. Another matter is about a rubbish, that is because a large of population. The effect a large of population is flood matter there is no awareness of the people to throw a rubbish into the dustbin. Living in Malang very hard because so many trouble in Malang.

Maybe a little weird if I say my beautiful garbage collection. All because I did have a very beautiful garbage. My collection is one of the plastic waste. Examples of plastic waste that is hanging lamps made from used beverage bottles, while also there is a unique bag of detergent packs. I also have a collection of waste paper such as recycled newspaper that I make photo frames. There are also collections of organic waste in the form of processed coconut husk remaining transformed into a doormat. I also do not forget to collect household waste anekah then I though into organic fertilizer. The fertilizer I use to fertilize my flowers that beauti.Turn out garbage not only pollute our homes, but could be more beautiful if we can recycle it

Children is a good imitator and we have to very be careful to behave and to speak in front of them. Beside that, we know what kind of activities that suitable with their grade. Many exotic beaches in the south of Malang. Where the first Balekambang Coast beach conditions there are very clean and white, so it looks shiny when sunset.Uniqueness of this beach is the existence of two adjacent islands, and one which contains a temple. That the two most interesting Ngliyep.Coast of Ngliyep are big waves. while the location is in the district Donomulyo.It into three is kondangmerak beach, located next to the beach Balekambang. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (The Miniature of Indonesia) is located in Jakarta. If you visit it, you will see many kinds of traditinal houses from all provinces in indonesia, amd from all of the nics. They have different shapes and architectures. Some of them are built on pillars, some of them are not. For example , the Rumah Gadang of Minangkabau from West Sumatra is built on pillars. It is important to avoid the wild animals or floods. Whereas Joglo from Java, honei and Ebei from Irian are not built on pillars.
The similarity of the tradisional houses is that they are made of wood, becauses wood was easy to get in the forest many years ago. The modern people don’t live in traditional houses anymore now. They are not suitable; besides, the teak wood is very expensive. Nowadays, it is difficult for us to get the traditional houses in towns or villages.
